Long-pulse Mode: Features a relatively longer pulse width. In this mode, the laser’s interaction with the target tissue involves a significantly higher proportion of photothermal effects alongside the mechanical effect. When a laser with a longer pulse width acts on the deeper layers of the skin, it creates a “photothermal effect zone.”
Water and other chromophores in the dermis absorb the energy, leading to a mild rise in temperature.
